Dr. Berthena Nabaa-McKinney (Dr. B) was elected to the Metro Nashville School Board on August 4, 2022, representing District 4 consisting of the Donelson, Hermitage, and Old Hickory communities.

 

Dr. B currently serves as the Vice Chair of the School Board, and Chair of the Budget and Finance Committee. She previously served as Chair of the Superintendent Evaluation Committee and Co-Chair of Teaching and Learning.

Dr. B is seeking re-election to the MNPS School Board in District 4 to serve another four year term. The Democratic Primary is May 5, 2026 and the General Election is on August 6, 2026. She hopes to earn your support and vote!

Metro Nashville Public Schools is the second largest school district in Tennessee and District 4, representing the Donelson, Hermitage and Old Hickory communities, is home to 18 schools consisting of a variety of public elementary, middle and high schools.
